Saffron User’s Guide

Saffron can be used to treat a range of health issues. Based on your blood pressure and the purpose of use, the amount of saffron prescribed below is to be steeped in fresh water for drinking daily. To get started, boil water and allow it to cool to roughly 50-70°C. Then, please follow these specific instructions.


1. If you have Low Blood Pressure:

First Week – Steep 5-7 saffron threads in 1.5-2 litres of fresh water and drink throughout the day. Repeat this process daily.

Second Week – Steep 7-10 saffron threads in 1.5-2 litres of fresh water and drink throughout the day. Repeat this process daily.

Third Week onwards – Each week, increase the amount of saffron by 2 threads until you reach 15-20 threads per day. Follow the same process as in the first 2 weeks.

Continue for about 3-5 months to see marked improvements in your health.

Notes: Do not drink saffron water when hungry.


2. If you have Normal or High Blood Pressure:

First Week – Steep 7-10 saffron threads in 1.5-2 litres of fresh water and drink throughout the day. Repeat this process daily.

Second Week onwards – Each week, increase the amount of saffron by 2 threads until you reach 15-20 threads per day. Follow the same process as in the first week.

Continue for about 3-5 months to see marked improvements in your health.

Depending on the purpose of use, please follow the specific instructions below to make the necessary adjustments.


3. If you have Insomnia (or trouble sleeping):

The amount of saffron required per day to relieve insomnia or improve sleep can be unique to each person. So, monitor how your body reacts to the saffron water and adjust the amount of saffron per day accordingly until you notice a marked improvement in your sleep.

Saffron can also energize the body so do not drink close to bedtime; your last drink should be 40 minutes - 1 hour before your bedtime.

As you start to feel sleepy, go to bed as soon as possible.

Notes:

· Do not exceed 50 threads per day.

· Avoid eating a heavy dinner.


4. If you have Diabetes:

Steep 50-60 saffron threads in 1.5-2 litres of fresh water and drink throughout the day. Repeat this process daily.


5. If you have Cancer:

Steep 100-150 saffron threads in 1.5-2 litres of fresh water and drink throughout the day. Repeat this process daily.


6. If you are Obese:

Steep 15-20 threads in 750 mL of fresh water and drink. Repeat this 3 times per day to promote weight loss.

Replace beef and pork with fish and chicken in your diet. Increase servings of vegetables and nuts in your daily diet.


7. If you are Underweight:

Steep 5-7 saffron threads in 1 litre of fresh water and drink throughout the day. Repeat this process daily.

As your appetite improves and you feel hungry, eat larger servings of nutritious food.


8. If you have Period Pains:

Drinking saffron water daily, as prescribed above based on your blood pressure, will comfort you when you have your periods.

If you experience abdominal pain or sudden back pain, steep 5-7 saffron threads in 250 mL water for about 15 minutes before drinking. The pain will subside quickly.


9. If you want to counter effects from Drinking Alcohol:

For the best results, steep 20 threads in 1 litre of fresh water and drink before, during and after drinking alcohol.

To reduce the feeling of dizziness, headaches or nausea from drinking beer or wine, drink saffron water during the drinking session.

Steep 15 threads in 200-250 mL of fresh water and drink after drinking alcohol to flush out toxins and revitalize yourself. Continue to drink as much water as possible.
