ABOUT ME

While we may or may not have met previously, as you get to know me better, you’ll soon realise that being productive is important to me. Whether I’m working for someone or for myself, I truly believe my time is best spent helping others to achieve what’s important to them. But before you work with someone, I think it’s important to know who they are and what they stand for. In this section I share some of my personal interests and the work experiences I have gained.

One of my interests is photography and videography. While it can be challenging at times, I appreciate the opportunity it provides me to be creative and it has been rewarding to produce photographs and videos that help local businesses in Darwin, Australia with their Social Media marketing. This motivated me to start my career in content creation and social media marketing working with local clients such as Hilton Darwin, The Precinct Tavern, Encore Pilates and Wellness. While I have worked for several companies and appreciated those varied experiences, watching my parents own and run their business for 30+ years inspired me to own and manage a business for myself. Moreover, I've wanted my business to serve my customers by offering a product or service of great value. After all, owning a business is one thing, but owning a business that makes an impact and makes you proud is entirely different.​

It was not until I began to suffer from insomnia that a friend of mine introduced me to Saffron, a herb that can be used to treat a variety of health issues. While I was skeptical at first, after using it to cure my insomnia I became convinced that Bahraman Saffron from Iran was the product I had been looking for. So, on my 29th birthday in 2020, I launched Saffron29byEllieDo. In the time since then, though my health has improved by drinking Saffron water daily, it is the effect this product has had on the lives of my customers that has confirmed the true value of this product. Seeing them recover from a range of health issues as well as their financial success as distributors of Bahraman Saffron has made this journey worthwhile.

Running this business has been a tremendous learning experience. I've learned so much about marketing and training a team, which later, has inspired me to start other business ventures with my partner, James.

We started Koala Kudle and Digital Readi.

​

The koala is one of the most iconic animals in Australia. It's also one of the country's most endangered species, and it's up to us to help them thrive. Koala Kudle is a business for good cause e-commerce initiative that was inspired after a trip to Newcastle, NSW where we learned about the impact of human and natural impacts on koalas in Australia. We were so touched by the stories we heard, we decided to do something about it! Our mission was the inspiration behind all of our products, which not only look fantastic but also raise awareness about koala conservation efforts.

 

While running several business ventures of my own, I realised small business owners need to tackle so many tasks at a time, which sometimes stops them from doing what they do best. That's why Digital Readi is born.
